Hermann Hesse (1877-1962) | with Granddaughter Sibylle
The pictures of Hermann Hesse, German-Swiss writer and Nobel Prize winner for literature, together with his granddaughter Sibylle, are taken by his youngest son and photographer Martin Hesse. Martin accompanied his father photographically for decades. The result is a series of pictures that is hardly to be found of any other personality of such relevance. The entire photographic estate with over 1000 pictures is accessible under the source Martin Hesse Heirs at Keystone-SDA. (luk)
