Women's movement Switzerland | Organizations
The origins of the organized Swiss women's movement lie in the local women's associations, many of which join together to form associations and organizations in the course of political struggles. Gender equality in civil law and labour law are the central demands. In the 1960s a new, autonomous women's movement broke out. The focus is on the right to one's own belly, criticism of sexism and patriarchy, and the search for feminist social models. (luk)
