SIK ISEA - Landscapes by Ferdinand Hodler
On a walk that Hodler took with art critic Johannes Widmer on the shores of Lake Geneva in the summer of 1917, the artist pointed out to his friend how, on the other side of the lake, everything seemed to merge into lines and space, as he commented: "Are you not as if you were standing on the edge of the earth and free with space? With landscape pictures by Ferdinand Holder from the art archive of SIK-ISEA we would like to open the view into infinity to you. (luk)
