Space Shuttle Atlantis Mission STS-135
STS-135 (Space Transportation System) is the designation for the last mission (hence the Omega symbol in the mission emblem) of NASA's US Space Shuttle. The implementation of the mission, which was also included in the programme, was questionable for a long time. STS-135 was the last government manned space mission from the United States until the end of May 2020. The flight was carried out by the space shuttle Atlantis (OV-104), and the launch for the thirteen-day mission to the International Space Station (ISS) was on 8 July 2011. It was the 135th space shuttle mission and the 33rd and last flight of Atlantis. The crew of only four was the smallest since April 1983 (STS-6). Transported were the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and a Lightweight Multi-Purpose Carrier (LMC). (autotranslate)
