August Hollenstein (1920-2003) was not only a shooting world champion and Swiss flag bearer at the 1960 Olympic opening ceremony in Rome, but also a passionate photographer. The photo series of Alphons Biland from 1956 shows the shooter hunting the perfect shot in his hometown Bettwiesen in the canton of Thurgau and developing his animal photographs in his own laboratory.
